The melody of the waltz, which we are able to hear in this piece, comes form the Kurpie region and is a song entitled „Matulu moja”. The choreography is styled as a dance of figurines in an enchanted music box. In the first scene we can see a child, looking with bewilderment at characters frozen in place. With the first touch the mechanism comes to life and everything begins to slowly rotate in a steady rhythm of the waltz. At the end, when the figurines go back to their assigned places, the child stays enchanted inside the music box and another one is „set free”. This way the whole process can begin again with a new „wind up” of the music box.
